Project: Brand Strategy
Working with Jade on this project is amazing fun, and together we have seen phenomenal growth over the last 2 years, building on an already thriving business. The first stage, as with many of my clients we went into a ‘Discovery Phase’. Here I conducted a full brand and digital audit of Dancing Leopard, assessing the customer experience both on and offline.
I discovered some brand gaps, so it was really important that the first part of the brand strategy would begin with a brand redesign and rethink the website from a user experience perspective.
After a number of ‘brand discovery sessions’ with Jade, we also developed a brand strategy to help re-align this lovely boutique fashion house and overcome a number of brand challenges. This addressed messaging, year-round sales opportunities, advocacy and awareness strategies and Dancing Lepard’s unique proposition.
My book of trusted creative contacts enables me to put together a freelance team around any client I work with. For this rebranding project, I recommended the amazing Claire Hartley. Claire is a truly talented brand + packaging designer and the new visual identity is both absolutely stunning and relevant.
Claire’s work included creating a new logo, colour palettes, and brand patterns. In addition to this, we then worked offline to create new packaging and stationery to really bring everything together for Jade and her brand. This included the offline components for the new e-commerce loyalty campaign.
For startups and boutique brands, it is a big investment to get full-time brand/marketing strategy directors. For this reason, I offer my clients brand partnerships where I can fulfil this role to the level they need each month.
